Phenolic Laminates - G10, G10-CR, G7 and G11

Craftech Industries manufactures Phenolic Laminate fasteners and parts for many industries, worldwide.

Our standard product line of G10 fasteners includes machine screws, set screws, thumb screws, cap screws, nuts, washers, spacers, threaded rod, and shoulder washers. Craftech manufactures G10, G10-CR, G7 and G117 custom parts. All phenolic laminate parts are manufactured to ANSI and DIN standards.    

Phenolic Laminates are made by applying heat and pressure to layers of paper, canvas, linen or glass fabric, impregnated with synthetic thermosetting resins to form solid shapes having high mechanical and electrical insulating properties.. These extremely durable laminates are uniformly dense and structurally strong, lightweight, moisture resistant and will not soften appreciably under the reapplication of heat. Since laminates are comprised of a combination of materials, they are also referred to as composites. 

G10 is a versatile all-around laminate, with extremely high mechanical strength, good dielectric loss properties, and good electric strength properties, both wet and dry. FR4 grades are flame retardant. Continuous service temperatures to 285°F.

G-7 has good electrical properties under humid conditions, excellent heat and arc resistance and has good dielectric loss properties under dry conditions. Continuous service temperatures to 465°F.

G10-CR (Cryogenic Grade) is an electrical and mechanical grade of glass cloth laminate impregnated and cured with a non-brominated epoxy resin. G10-CR is used in applications were flame retardancy isn't an issue. G10-CR contains no halogens and can be used in nuclear and space applications such as satellites, requiring stringent temperature demands in sub-zero environments, have very little risk of fire. G-10-CR is an excellent choice when working with liquid nitrogen and cryo lab applications.

G11 is similar to G10/FR4, with the addition of a higher operating temperature and some improved mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. Continuous service temperatures to 300°F.
