Thermal-Formed U-BOLTS
In answer to environmental concerns for cleaner air, many industries are looking for new solutions to deal with atmospheric polutants.

One such product line is thermal-formed PVC and CPVC u-bolts, ranging in size from 1’ to 5’ in height. Both PVC and CPVC offer excellent corrosion and weather resistance as well as fire resistance. PVC may be used up to 140°F and is self-extinguishing. CPVC has a continuous service temperature of 200°F. Craftech u-bolts are also available in different diameters and lengths.

These thermal-formed u-bolts are used in plants that operate particulate scrubber equipment, liquid filtration systems, dust-collection technology equipment, wet scrubber and mister equipment and in waste handling plants.

Victrex’s standard grade of unfilled PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic that has excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, good wear and abrasion resistance, and can be used continuously to 480°F.

30% glass-filled PEEK has an increase in flexural modules and a reduction in expansion rate. This grade is ideal for structural applications that require improved strength, stiffness or stability, especially at temperatures above 300°F.

Craftech also manufactures parts in PEEK HT (high temperature); PEEK UHP (Ultra High Purity); and PEEK, 30% Carbon-Filled.
PEEK-UHP (Ultra-High Purity) is specially manufactured to meet the strictest requirements for purity in clean rooms, wet processing, pharmaceutical processing and analytical chemistry applications. Offering the mechanical, chemical, thermal and tribological properties of standard Victrex grades, PEEK-UHP contains no components that could leach into the fluid stream or outgas in vacuum or high heat environments.

PEEK-HT (High Temperature) is a unique high performance polymer for applications requiring superior high-temperature resistance. With a glass transition temperature of 315°F and a melting temperature of 703°F, this semi-crystalline, unreinforced polymer offers all the key characteristics of standard PEEK including toughness, strength and chemical resistance.

PEEK, 30% Carbon-Filled offers designers optimum wear resistance and load carrying capabilities in a PEEK-based product with higher thermal conductivity.
The NEW T-series is a range of proprietary blended products based on VICTREX®PEEKTM polymer and Celazole® polybenzimidazole (PBI) offering excellent mechanical performance. The TU-60 grade is unfilled, unreinforced PEEK/PBI blend suitable for high performance in high temperature and high-strength applications. TF-60V is glass-reinforced for even greater rigidity and dimensional stability while maintaining many of the useful characteristics of the unfilled grade. The glass reinforcement yields a product with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and increased tensile strength.
