| Precision Molded Fasteners |
| Craftech is now offering
economically priced molded fasteners as part of our standard product line. Our mold making
department has created 3 series of molds to give our customers product that will meet the ANSI and DIN standards in a variety of high technology materials. The MH series includes Isoplast 30% Short Glass Fiber, PPS 30% Carbon Fiber, Ryton® and Radel® AG330. The J series includes glass-filled Polypropylene, PEEK®, glass-filled Nylon, ULTEM®, Lexan and more. The K series includes Polypropylene, Delrin, PVDF and Halar®. All three series meeting ANSI
standards include pan, binding, round, flat, fillister and hex head machine screws, hex
cap screws as well as hex, flanged and clamp nuts. For further information call Craftechs sales department. Well give you detailed information on sizes, materials and head styles. |

Handles are also available in two different
styles. The first style, Part No. HD100 is 6 x 1-7/8" (111 x 47,6mm). The
second style, Part No. HD200 is offered in three sizes; 4-1/2 x 1-3/4" (114,3
x 44,5mm), 5-1/2 x 2.13" (139,7 x 54,1mm) and 6 x 2.63" (152,4 x 66,8mm).
Materials offered for both the hinges and handles are Polycarbonate (clear), 40%
Glass-filled Polypropylene (black or white) and 30% Short Glass Fiber Isoplast. Colors are also available. Handles and hinges are designed for applications requiring chemical resistance and/or strength involving fluid handling, semiconductor and chemical industries. |
| LCP |
Vectra® Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) grades offer advantages over metal, thermosets and other thermoplastics materials. Advantages include excellent chemical and hydrolytic stability, corrosion resistance, thermal stability, dimensional stability and precision moldability. Additional good properties include creep resistance at elevated temperatures, high strength and high continuous use temperatures, very high abrasion resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties. All grades have UL 94 V-0 flammability ratings and most grades have low smoke ratings, Military and Federal specifications listings and Underwriters Laboratories listings.Typical areas of application include Electrical/Electronic, Health Care, Industrial and Chemical Processing industries.
